Gauteng: At 18H07 Tuesday evening Netcare 911 responded to reports of a collision on Chester Road in Parkwood Johannesburg.

Reports from the scene indicate that the driver of a heavy motor vehicle lost control resulting slamming into a tree.

Medics assessed the scene and found that the passenger of the truck an adult male sustained moderate injuries.

The patient was treated on scene while a Netcare 911 Rescue Technician and Johannesburg Fire and Rescue Services used hydraulic tools to free the patient.
