Gauteng: SAPS participates in #MTN702Walk

JOHANNESBURG: The South African Police Service's Deputy National Commissioners, Divisional Commissioners and Gauteng Provincial Management representatives led the Walk the Talk with 702 and MTN at Marks Park, Emmarentia Dam in Johannesburg earlier today. Over 50 000 People are taking part in the 18th edition of MTN Walk the Talk with 702, celebrating 25 years of democracy.

Various SAPS Units showcased their services at a display at the first power zone (1km into the race) where participants could take a quick break and view displays by SAPS Water Wing, Mounted Unit, Flying Squad, Public Order Police Unit, Veterinary Services and K9 Unit while engaging with our members.

The South African Police Service BAND members put a spring in walkers’ steps as Walk the talk participants start picking up the pace while the SAPS Airwing made their presence known with a fly past at the start of the 8 km walk at 09:00.
