Good evening (19 May 2019). A cold front will be pushing in over the Western Cape in the next few hours with rain across the western parts of the Western Cape overnight to tomorrow late morning clearing from the west while moving eastwards over the interior. 15-25mm widely expected and up to 40-50mm over the western mountains. This could lead to increased morning rush hour travel time, poor driving visibility/ conditions and pooling of water on roads. Up to 50mm is expected over the mountainous regions (heavy rainfall warning).
Warning:20/05/2019 00h00 TO:20/05/2019 13h00 Heavy rain- Expected in places over the Cederberg, Hexriverberg, Boland and Overberg mountainous areas of the Western Cape tomorrow (Monday) early morning into early afternoon.
