#Hawks seek public assistance in tracing cash in transit suspects

BLOEMFONTEIN – The Hawks Serious Organised Crime Investigation in Bloemfontein is requesting the public's assistance in identifying two suspects wanted for a cash in transit robbery that took place in Welkom in August last year.

The two suspects, one in a blue overall and the other in a silver conti suit and caps, entered Roots butchery and accosted a G4S Cash Solutions security guard who had gone in to collect money. The security guard was pointed with firearms, robbed off his service pistol and the two suspects managed to escape with almost R385 000. They were seen fleeing the scene in a white Volkswagen Caddy.
