Inquest docket opened after light aircraft crashes

The Police at Mookgopong in the Modimolle Cluster have opened a case of inquest after a pilot (77) and his wife (66) died when their light aircraft crashed on the hill next to the Mountain-view Game Lodge, which is situated in the Waterberg District. The incident happened today at about 13:00.
The South African Police Service Search and Rescue Team visited the scene and all other role players were also summoned. The Civil Aviation will investigate the cause of the crash.
