Kuruman Police Station closed for decontamination

NORTHERN CAPE – Kuruman police station in the John Taolo Gaetsewe District had to be closed for 24 hours as the building was being decontaminated after one member attached to the station tested positive to COVID-19.
The decontamination process will be finalized today, Friday 26 June 2020 and the Police Station will be fully operational from tomorrow, Saturday 26 June 2020.
The Provincial Commissioner of the Northern Cape, Lieutenant General Risimati Peter Shivuri has assured the community of Kuruman that services won’t be hampered as the community will receive assistance through Mobile Community Service Centre temporarily placed in front of the police station.
