KwaZulu-Natal: A video kindly submitted of Netcare 2 a specialised helicopter ambulance departing scene in Eshowe.

At 09H55 Saturday morning a Netcare 911 Helicopter Air Ambulance was activated via Med-Evac Ambulance for a trauma case in an isolated rural area of Eshowe on the KZN North Coast.

Reports from the scene indicated that a male motorcyclist injured himself while taking part in a off-road motorcross event.

The patient was treated and stabilised prior to the arrival of the helicopter.

Once loaded the patient was flown to hospital for further treatment.
