KwaZulu-Natal: At 10H00 Monday morning, Netcare 911 responded to a collision on the M13 East Bound in Manors, Pinetown.
Reports indicate that the driver of a bakkie lost control, resulting in the vehicle leaving the road, crashing through the safety barrier, then coming to rest in a ditch.
According to the driver, a truck driving erratically down the hill, pushed him off the road.
Medics assessed the scene and found an adult male, also the only occupant on board, had sustained moderate injuries and was removed from the vehicle by a rescue technician.
The patient was treated on scene by a Netcare 911 advanced life support paramedic and once stabilised transported by private ambulance to hospital for further care.
