KwaZulu-Natal: At 10H08 Thursday morning Netcare 911 responded to reports of a collision on the R603 and the N2 in Kingsburgh South of Durban.

Reports from the scene indicate that a motorcycle and light motor vehicle were involved in a collision.

Medics assessed the scene and found that the motorcyclist, an adult male believed to be in his thirties had sustained critical injuries.

The patient was treated on scene by an Emergency Care Practitioner.

Once stabilised the patient was transported by the Netcare 5 helicopter ambulance to hospital for further treatment.
