KwaZulu-Natal: At 13H42 Sunday afternoon Netcare 911 responded to reports of a collision on the R61 and the Southbroom traffic lights in Marina Beach on the KZN South Coast.

Reports from the scene indicate that two light motor vehicles were involved in a collision.

Six patients were assessed on scene by an Advanced life support paramedic and found to have sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate.

Once treated, all the patients were transported by ambulance to hospital for further treatment.

All necessary authorities were on scene.
