KwaZulu-Natal: At 14H57 Sunday afternoon Netcare 911 responded to reports of a collision on the R61 in Margate on the KZN South Coast.

Reports from the scene indicate that two light motor vehicles were involved in a collision.

Two people from the one car an adult female and a 2-year-old male sustained fatal injuries when they were ejected in the crash, both were declared deceased on the scene.

The patient from the second vehicle sustained moderate injuries and was treated on scene before being transported by ambulance to hospital for further treatment.
