KwaZulu-Natal: At 16H40 Wednesday afternoon Netcare 911 responded to reports of a Pedestrian vehicle collision on the corners of North Coast Road and Blackburn road in Durban North.
Reports from the scene indicate that an adult male sustained serious head injuries with suspected spinal injuries after being knocked down by a light motor vehicle.
The patient was treated on scene by a Netcare 911 Emergency Care Practitioner and placed on a manual ventilator to help him breathe.
The patient was then packaged to support his spine and transported under the care of a Netcare 911 Paramedic to hospital for further treatment.
All necessary authorities were on scene to investigate.
