KwaZulu-Natal: At 16H46 Sunday afternoon Netcare 911 responded to reports of a drowning at a non swimming beach in La Lucia, Durban.

Reports from the scene indicate that two adult males got into difficulty while swimming and were pulled out into the surf.

A local Doctor who was on the beach at the time Rescue both men, one of whom had a dislocated elbow which was reset by the doctor on scene.

Both patients were assessed and found to be in a stable condition.
