KwaZulu-Natal: At 16H56 Tuesday afternoon Netcare 911 responded to reports of a collision on the R56 in Richmond.

Reports from the scene indicate that the driver of a mini-bus taxi allegedly hit an animal running across the road.

Paramedics assessed the scene and found that twelve of the occupants of the taxi sustained minor injuries.

The patients were all treated on scene and transported by various ambulance services to hospital for further treatment.
