KwaZulu-Natal: At 18H25 Tuesday evening Netcare 911 responded to reports of a non fatal drowning at a holiday resort swimming pool on the Durban Beach front.
Upon arrival of Paramedics the patient was found surrounded by members of the public at the pool area.
Reports from the scene allege that a 4-year-old male was found submerged in the pool and was pulled out by members of the public who Paramedics were told was found unresponsive and resuscitated him.
The patient was assessed on scene and found to be in a stable condition.
He was then transported to hospital for further assessment and care.
