KwaZulu-Natal: At 18H37 Friday evening Netcare 911 responded to reports of a collision on the N3 Durban bound between Lynnfield Park and Ashburton.
Reports from the scene indicate that the driver on a mini-bus taxi lost control resulting in the vehicle rolling several time down a steep embankment.
One person had died, another sustained serious injuries and fifteen others sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate.
The patients were treated on scene and transported by various ambulance services to hospital for further assessment and care.
All necessary authorities were on scene.
