KwaZulu-Natal: At 19H18 Thursday night Netcare 911 responded to reports of an assault at a residence in Raisthorpe Pietermaritzburg.
Reports from the scene indicate that two elderly patients, a male and female sustained minor injuries in an armed robbery.
Both patients were treated on scene and transported by ambulance to hospital for further assessment.
All necessary authorities were on scene.
