KwaZulu-Natal: At 20H59 Friday night Netcare 911 responded to reports of a collision on the N2 South bound near the Hibberdene onramp.

Reports from the scene indicate that two vehicles were involved in a collision.

Paramedics assessed the scene and found that one person had sustained fatal injuries, two children sustained serious injuries and required Advanced Life Support intervention to stabilise them as well as two other occupants who sustained moderate injuries.

Once treated all the patients were transported by ambulance to hospital for further treatment.
