KwaZulu-Natal: Saturday late afternoon Netcare 911 responded to reports of a serious collision on an unnamed road in Gcilima area.
Reports from the scene indicate that the driver of a light motor vehicle lost control hitting a tree in the process splitting the car in two.
One person had died and two others sustained moderate injuries injuries.
The patients were treated on scene and transported by another private ambulance as well as government EMS to hospital for further assessment.
All necessary authorities were on scene to investigate.
