Media Invitation: Eastern Cape police honours thirty (30) women with medals to commemorate women’s month #WomensMonth
It is befitting that as we celebrate Women’s Month, South African Police Service will also be awarding women in blue with 30 years loyal service medals and this is done in a year we celebrate the 100 years of Mama Albertina Sisulu.
The awarding of these medals to members who have displayed a loyal and untainted service of three decades is a validation that every member of the service can imitate the likes of Mama Albertina Sisulu and Tata Nelson Mandela. The medals are expected to go a long way in recognising the dedication of the recipients while also serving as a motivation to other junior officials to emulate this good conduct and discipline.
The Eastern Cape Provincial Commissioner, Lt Gen Ntshinga will host two events in honor of SAPS members for loyal service and bidding farewell to some of our members who have served the SAPS with pride until their retirement.
The events will take place as follows:
Place: SAPS Provincial Head Office, Zwelitsha
Time: 10:00
Date: 21 July 2018
Place: The Venue, Hemingways, East London
Time: 18:00
Date: 21 July 2018
Eastern Cape Provincial Commissioner, Lt Gen Liziwe Ntshinga has the pleasure of inviting the member of the media to grace the events and give the events maximum coverage.
