Media invitation: Northern Cape Provincial Commissioner, Lt Gen Shivuri to host POLMUSCA

The Provincial Commissioner of Northern Cape, Lieutenant General Risimati Peter Shivuri will host the 26th Annual Police Music and Cultural Association festival (POLMUSCA) from 20 -23 September 2018 in Kimberley.

The festival is a musical and cultural competition that was introduced within the police by the retired Assistant Commissioner Willie Ngobeni in Limpopo, 1992. Every year, the competitions are held in one of the nine provinces.

Dignitaries who will be in attendance includes the Minister of Police, the Deputy Minister of Police, the Premier of the Northern Cape and the Members of the Executive Council, the National Commissioner of the South African Police Service, Deputy National Commissioners, Divisional, Regional and all Provincial Commissioners.

During the Opening Ceremony, the Northern Cape Provincial Commissioner, Lieutenant General Risimati Peter Shivuri will launch the 2018 Festive Season Operations as well as the Roadmap to the 2019 Elections.
