#MeetOurMembers – Mr George Madikgakge

Meet Mr George Madikgakge, a foreman who is always ensuring that the Rietgat Police Station is squeaky clean.

For almost three decades, Mr Madikgakge has worked at the Rietgat Police Station, not only serving his fellow colleagues, but also serving hordes of people who visit the station daily. Mr Madikgakge is a man who subscribes to the adage, “Cleanliness is next to Godliness”. With a wealth of experience working in the South African Police Service (SAPS), he also assists in other departments, such as the Storeroom and Fleet Management when an extra pair of hands are needed. His diligence, passion and discipline earned him stripes and a feather on his cap in 2018 when he received a Best Cleaner Award. The Rietgat Police Station is proud to have a man of Madikgakge’ s calibre.

The dedicated Mr Madikgakge says: “The best part of my job is that I look forward to making a difference. A clean work environment signals a hospitable atmosphere where people can be helped with a smile.”
