National prayer day for road safety: Modimolle #SaferFestiveSeason

Limpopo: The Minister of Transport, Honorable Dr Blade Inzimamde, the Premier of Limpopo Province, Hon. Chupu Stanley Mathabatha, the MEC for Transport and Community Safety, Mme Makoma Makhurupetje, the Provincial Commissioner of the South African Police Service in Limpopo, Lieutenant General Nneke Ledwaba are currently in Modimolle for the National Prayer Day.

The event will be preceded by an inter-denominational Prayer service comprising a number of religious leaders including The Right Reverent Bishop Dr Barnabas Lekganyane, at the scene where 27 lives were lost along the N1 road next to Modimolle. Hereafter the convoy will proceed to Ephraim Mogale Stadium at Phagameng Township where formal proceedings will unfold.

After the conclusion of the inter-denominational prayer service at the scene where 27 people perished along the N1 road, the entourage led by the Minister of Transport and the Premier, proceeded to Ephraim Mogale Stadium at Phagameng where the proceedings are unfolding.
