North West Province: At 08H16 Tuesday morning Netcare 911 responded to reports of a serious collision on the R556, Modikwe Rustenburg.
Reports from the scene indicate that one person tragically died and another nine people sustained varying degrees of injuries when the driver of a light delivery vehicle lost control resulting in a rollover.
One of the patients was found to be in a critical condition and due to the nature of the patients injuries the Netcare 1 Specialised Helicopter Air Ambulance was called to the scene to airlift the patient to hospital.
Seven other people were treated on scene and once stabilized was transported by various ambulance services to hospital for further treatment.
Events leading up to the collision will be investigated by the SAPS who were on scene.
