Today a multi- disciplinary disruptive crime prevention operation was executed in the Kimberley CBD.
The SAPS was assisted by the SANDF, the Provincial Liquor
Board, Home Affairs Immigration, Sol Plaatje Security and Investigators of the Counterfeit and Illicit Trade Group.The operation focused on cordon and searches at the Craven Street Taxi Rank. Numerous stalls at the taxi rank was searched for illegal possession or selling of drugs, stolen property, counterfeit / illicit brand name goods, general crime prevention and stop and search of vehicles and persons.
