Police looking for filling station robbers #Wanted
NELSPRUIT – Members of the South African Police Service at Kanyamazane, near Nelspruit are looking for a group of approximately 10 men who blasted a drop safe at a local filling station and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.
According to information at police disposal, around 01:15 this morning, police receive a complaint of a robbery in progress at the said filling station. They responded swiftly and upon approaching the filling station, shots were fired at them and in turn, retaliated. A group of men fled the scene on foot in various directions.

Meanwhile, a man aged 21 will appear before the Mhala Magistrate Court today for murder. The suspect was arrested on Saturday, 22 June 2019 after his family handed him over to the police for reportedly confessing that he killed his 22-year-old girlfriend and buried her in the yard, approximately three months ago. The incident occurred in Agincourt Village outside Thulamahashe, near Bushbuckridge.
Upon investigation, the suspect confessed that he assaulted her with a blunt object on her head after they had had an argument. He then put her in a suitcase and buried her in the yard. Relevant stakeholders were summoned to the scene where a decomposed body was found.
The suspect was remanded in custody pending bail application and will reappear at the same court tomorrow, 25 June 2019.
