Police Minister General Bheki Cele together with Minister of Justice and Correctional Service Lamola addressing media on #COVID19 #Coronavirus

PRETORIA – Police Minister General Bheki Cele is addressing the members of different media houses at GCIS Tshedimosetso House in Pretoria today regarding the implementation of #COVID19 disaster management. He indicated that the 2020 police intake has been suspended until further notice as a prevention measure.

He further indicated that there will be no any exceptions of application of gathering of more than 100 people and appeal to all churches to comply with the government on measures set to prevent spread of the #COVID19.

Minister General Bheki Cele also mentioned that spotters will be appointed at taverns, bottle stores, restaurants and clubs in order to ensure that no alcohol is sold after 18:00.

There will be no visit allowed to the police station cells from the public until 15 April 2020 which will also determined by the status regarding the #Coronavirus said General Bheki Cele.
