Police Minister’s countrywide inspection tour of #SaferFestiveSeason operations, heads to Gauteng Province #ZizojikaIzinto

Police Minister, General Bheki Cele will on Friday, 20 December 2019, visit Gauteng Province, to inspect the SAPS Safer Festive Season operations.

This visit forms part of the efforts by the South African Police Service to turn the tide against crime ‘Zizojika Izinto’ this festive season.

Joined by the top management of the South African Police Service, Minister Cele will embark on community engagements at public spaces. He will also inspect police operations and multi-disciplinary road-blocks, to assess the safety plans in place meant to ensure the safety of residents and holiday makers during the holiday season.
