Police need information relating to a shooting incident

WESTERN CAPE – The police in Mitchells Plain are seeking the assistance of the community to link suspects to a murder committed in the area.
On Friday (2021-08-13), at about 21:20, they responded to a complaint in Bontebok Street in Eastridge. Upon arrival at the scene, they were informed that the victim was rushed to a nearby hospital with private transport. According to reports the victim was chased by occupants in a black VW Golf, who fired numerous gunshots at him. The victim fled into a nearby premises and were declared deceased by the medical personnel at a nearby hospital. The motive for the attack is possibly gang related.
