Raging fires on Garden Route, George areas, affecting Eskom Power lines some of which are feeding the Eastern Cape. Areas affected by the fire is the Outeniqua pass, Blanco Areas close to Pass, Woodville, Karatara as well as Outeniqua area.

Current customers off are those fed from Outeniqua Uniondale 132kV, as well as those on Karatara Farmers
