Northern Cape: As part of the Safer Festive Season operations, the Vispol Head at Roodepan SAPS, Lt Col Pieter Jansen and the head of Detectives , Lt Col Christopher Mashodi and their members conducted a roadblock today, 10 December 2018 on the Midlands road between Homevale and Roodepan
The members distributed pamphlets while engaging with motorists and passengers. Vehicles were stopped and searched for suspected stolen goods, stolen copper cables, illegal/ unlicensed firearms, drugs. Driver’s license’s were checked and vehicles were inspected for trustworthiness.
