1. Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected over the
central and southern parts of the Northern Cape, the Central and Little Karoo of the Western Cape and the western and south-western interior of the Eastern Cape.

SPECIAL WEATHER ADVISORIES:

1. Strong north-westerly winds (50-62km/h) are expected over the Karoo Hoogland Municipality of the Northern Cape and the Central Karoo of the Western Cape on Sunday.

2. An intense cold front is expected to affect the Western Cape on Monday evening into Tuesday resulting in very cold, wet and windy conditions.
The public and small stock farmers are advised of the following:

2.1 Gale force north-westerly winds of 65-80km/h is expected between
Table Bay and Cape Agulhas form Monday late morning moderating
Tuesday morning.

2.2 Strong to gale force northwesterly winds are expected over the entire Western and Northern Cape provinces from Monday evening into Tuesday night.

2.3 Heavy rain leading to localized flooding is expected over the Cape
Metropole, Cape Winelands and Overberg District of the Western Cape on Monday overnight into Tuesday.

2.4 High seas with wave heights of 6.0 to 7.0m are expected between
Cape Columbine and Cape Agulhas from Monday overnight, spreading to Plettenberg Bay on Tuesday morning subsiding on Wednesday.

The wind along the coast will be light north-easterly becoming
moderate north-westerly.

Cloudy and cool along the coastal areas with morning fog, becoming
partly cloudy but cloudy along the south-coast. It will become fine
and warm over the central interior.
The wind along the coast will be light northerly becoming north-westerly in the afternoon otherwise westerly along the south-coast at first becoming south-easterly by afternoon.

8. WESTERN HALF OF THE EASTERN CAPE:
