So anyone that follows IRS knows that our investigators use black marked Renaults as investigation vehicles. Our recent acquisition of two white bakkies to add to our fleet has caused some confusion as it differs significantly from our well known branding.

Allow us to explain the use of our two new vehicles:

The two new Nissan bakkies are support vehicles for security companies and other SME's that subscribe to our crime reaction service.

Many security companies are exceptionally competent at providing physical risk services; but no matter how good their service may be, the sites that they protect may be targeted by professional criminals. In order to ensure than an objective, independent, third party investigates the case and gives a considered expert report to the client and the client's or security company's insurers, IRS offers a reactive investigation service. This service covers any serious crime that may occur on a client's site and the service includes liaison with the authorities.

Further to the above mentioned service, IRS also assists security companies in ensuring that they remain 100% compliant with all laws relevant to the industry as well as ensuring that the security company subscribes to good corporate governance. IRS issues a certificate to security companies that are compliant, ethical and practice good governance.

Apart from these services, IRS will at no charge consult with a security company's client that may have been a victim of a financial related crime and advise of the best course of action going forward.
