South Africa has become a haven for international fugitives.

You may not know it, but the person living next door to you may be a criminal wanted abroad for serious crimes.

In an effort to assist our international colleagues, we are posting the details of the UK's 11 most wanted criminals. They could be anywhere in the world, including in South Africa.

First on the list and most wanted in the UK is Sarah Panitzke, who is wanted by the country's revenue service for laundering a massive £1 billion.

Second on the list is Kevin Parle who is wanted for two murders.

Third on the list is John Barton wanted for smuggling £10 million worth of heroin into the UK.

Fourth on the list is Allan Foster, also known as "Shaun Michael Wilkinson", is wanted for murder, drug trafficking and theft.

Fifth on the list is Shashi Dhar Sahnan wanted for smuggling heroin into the UK.

Sixth on the list is Fatah Benlaredj, also known as Samir. He is wanted for the rape of a seven year old girl.

Seventh on the list is Derek McGraw Ferguson wanted for murder.

Eighth on the list is Daniel Dugic from Serbia. He is wanted for smuggling a massive £53 million worth of cocaine into the UK.

Ninth on the list is Jonathon Kelly who is considered extremely violent and wanted on various charges relating to violence including permanently paralyzingly a victim using a machete.

Tenth on the list is Dominic McInally, leader of a major cocaine smuggling ring.

And finally eleventh on the most wanted list in the UK is Mark Quinn who is wanted for the distribution of amphetamines worth £11 million.
