1. Strong north-westerly to westerly winds (50-60km/h) are expected over the southern interior of the Northern Cape, as well as over the Breede River Valley and Central Karoo of the Western Cape on Wednesday.

Cloudy with early morning isolated showers and rain in places in the south-west where it will be cold, otherwise partly cloudy and cool.

The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh north-westerly but strong between Table Bay and Cape Agulhas. It will become light and variable north of Cape Columbine and east of Stilbaai from late afternoon.

8. WESTERN HALF OF THE EASTERN CAPE:

The wind along the coast will be light to moderate north-westerly but moderate to fresh east of Algoa Bay, becoming light to moderate south-westerly in the afternoon.

Partly cloudy in the south-west, otherwise fine and cool but warm in places.

The wind along the coast will be light to moderate nort-westerly becoming south-westerly midday, but easterly in the north in the afternoon becoming north-easterly in the evening spreading south.

Fine in the west, otherwise cloudy and warm but cool in the extreme south-west. Rain and isolated showers are expected along the north coast in the afternoon.

The wind along the coast will be gentle to moderate southerly to south-westerly, becoming easterly to south-easterly in the afternoon, but north-easterly in the extreme south.
