TONIGHT ON ENCA CHANNEL 403 AT 8.30PM:

Tonight on eNCAnews, we will be having a very important conversation about organised crime in South Africa with Judge Dennis Davis for the television series “We the Nation”.

Not pictured, but also amongst those present at the panel discussion, General Shadrack Sibiya, General Jeremy Vearey, Yusuf Abramjee, and Advocate Rodney de Kock who is the Deputy National Director of Public Prosecutions: Head National Prosecuting Service.

The important conversation about capacity issues and budget constraints within SAPS and the Hawks is discussed, as well as the notion of so-called “mafias” in the different sectors such as the taxi and construction industries, and the increase in cases of kidnapping. Also discussed is the importance of public / private collaborations in the fight against organised crime.

The television program will be airing tonight at 20h00 on DSTV channel 403.
