UPDATE: The total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in South Africa is 10 015. The total number of tests conducted to date is 341 336, of which 17 257 were done in the last 24 hours. Regrettably, we report 8 more COVID-19 related deaths. We wish to express our condolences to the loved ones of the deceased. Mass community screening is helping to stem the coronavirus tide in South Africa. Thank you to all the community healthcare workers in the field.
