UPDATE: The total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in South Africa is 7572. The total number of tests conducted to date is 268 064, of which 10 523 were done in the last 24 hours. Today we regrettably report 10 new COVID-19 related deaths. We convey our condolences to the families and friends of the deceased. We urge all South Africans to practice meticulous hand washing for 20 seconds with soap and water or 70% alcohol based sanitiser. #HandHygieneDay
