UPDATE: The total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in South Africa is 8895. The total number of tests conducted to date is 307 752, of which 15 599 were done in the last 24 hours. Regrettably, we report 17 new COVID-19 related deaths. We convey our condolences to the families and friends of the deceased. We want to thank South Africans for coming on board for testing and screening.
