Vulindlela members extend help to needy senior citizen.

Eastern Cape: Showing a united front, members of Vulindlela police station and Community Policing Forum offered a helping hand to a needy senior citizen at NU12, Mdantsane today.

The recipient of this good gesture, Temba Njikelana (70), who is a pensioner, has been volunteering at Vulindlela policing for the past five years. He was washing the vehicles, doing garden services, cleaning the yard without expecting any compensation.

The SAPS members were touched by the pensioner's living condition. They gathered money amongst themselves and throughout the little sponsors they received and bought paint, bed, sofas, blankets, curtains, tiles, cupboard, grocery and other household contents.
