On tonight’s programme, “When Duty Calls” brings you the recently presented 2017/2018 National #CrimeStats by the Minister of Police, Mr Bheki Cele and the National Commissioner of Police, General Khehla Sitole,to the Portfolio Committee and the media in Parliament, Cape Town.

Provincial Focus:

Western Cape: A joint operation by the Hawks Narcotics Enforcement Bureau (SANEB) and Crime Intelligence in Cape Town, has led to the recovery of Mandrax tablets valued at over a million rand.

Gauteng: The fight against police impersonators left three suspects behind bars following an intelligence driven operation by members of the Hawks in Gauteng.

Mpumalanga: Joint efforts by the SAPS, SANDF and Tracker members yielded positive results in Mzinti with the recovery of a suspected stolen vehicle positively linked to a Centurion case.

Help detectives reunite missing persons with their families and find wanted suspects.
