Western Cape: #FlyingSquad arrest 2, recover stolen firearm and stolen vehicles in separate incidents

Nyanga: In their pursuit to protect the communities of this province against criminals, members of the Western Cape Flying Squad apprehended two suspects with a stolen firearm and one round of ammunition. During the early hours of this morning the members recovered a vehicle in Nyanga which was stolen during a house robbery in Delft, and while busy with their investigation, their attention were drawn to two suspects approaching them. The suspects were searched, which led to the discovery of a .45 revolver and one round. The suspects aged 19 and 28 were arrested and are due in Athlone Magistrate’s Court once they have been charged. Members of the same shift also managed to recover a total of four stolen vehicles last night. #PoliceVisibility #FightingCrime
